Merchant initiated transactions

Last changes: 04-29-2021

Introduction

Merchant-initiated transaction (MIT) are payments initiated by a merchant, without having the consumer present at the time of payment.

To perform MIT, a payment option needs to be stored upfront by your consumer. In addition, you need your consumer’s consent to use this payment option for fixed and/or variable payments according to an agreed payment schedule.
