| Status | Description |
| created | Status after a subscription is created via post request. At this point it is considered subscription intent |
| pending | Subscription is created, billing agreement is provided, there is no trial period and the start date is in the future |
| trial | Subscription is in trial status |
| active | Subscription is created, billing agreement provided, trial period has completed or is not provided and the subscription start date is in the past |
| overdue | Subscription is overdue, if it has failed payment(s) |
| canceled | Subscription is canceled explicitly and no further actions are done on it |
| expired | Subscription has completed all of its billing cycles and requires no further action on it |
| paused | Subscription and all actions on it are put on pause |
